Bahlsen has introduced three new products to its biscuits portfolio as part of its drive to attract a younger audience.
Choco Leibniz, a crunchy biscuit stick coated in chocolate, and bite-size biscuit Peanut Delight are being rolled out from this month. Positioned as ideal for eating on-the-go, the sticks come in a resealable flip-top carton containing two packets of six, while the peanut bites come in 175g bags. A limited-edition Choco Leibniz Banana variant completes the NPD.
The trio builds on the company's activity last year when it launched Dip It!, an oval-shaped biscuit for dunking, to broaden its appeal to a younger and more mainstream market.
Bahlsen is one of the world's largest family-owned biscuit manufacturers. Its brands account for 70% of Continental biscuits sold in the UK, including Messino and First Class.
