UK duck producer Cherry Valley Farms has been snapped up by a major Asian processor.
Cherry Valley owners, Nickerson Group Rothwell, have reached an agreement with Navis Capital Partners, who own a controlling interest in the Thai-based Bangkok Ranch Public Company, one of the world’s biggest duck processors.
Cherry Valley is the leading commercial duckling and duck meat producer in the UK, based at Rothwell, Lincolnshire, since 1958.
The company said: “Cherry Valley will continue with its policy of expanding its livestock and processing operations, both in the UK and overseas. Further sizeable investment is planned.”
