Scottish soup manufacturer Baxters Food Group has made two senior appointments to its management team in a bid to drive growth in its brands.
Andrew Field will be joining Baxters later this month as sales and marketing director for European ambient brands. He was previously a managing consultant in the industry and worked with Volvic, Guinness, Birds Eye, Wall’s and Britvic. Murray Calder will be joining Field’s team as brands controller. He was previously global marketing manager at The Edrington Group. Calder will be responsible for all of the brands in the Baxters portfolio.
Group managing director Norman Soutar said: “We believe these new appointments will bring a fresh outlook, skills and experience to our branded sales and marketing team.”
