Beer Hawk Fresh has signed a deal with Fix8 Kombucha to distribute its trio of kombucha drinks.
The drinks – Strawberry Tulsi, Citrus Saffron and Triple Ginger – will now be available chilled to retailers and bars across London with same-day delivery and next-day delivery across the UK.
Head of Beer Hawk Fresh Andrew Morgan said the Fix8 range complemented the “expanding choice of brewery-fresh beers” it distributes, and “enhances the choice of brands we offer”.
Shoppers were “increasingly expecting to be offered a broad range of premium drinks”, he added, and the drinks would be suited to “operators looking for a premium non-alcoholic offering to engage customer interest”.
Beer Hawk Fresh was founded last year when indie retailer The Bottle Shop collapsed into administration, brought down by ongoing financial issues spurred on by the loss of a contract with Beavertown Brewery. Rescue talks with BrewDog fell through.
AB InBev snapped up a portion of the business’ assets and created Beer Hawk Fresh, hiring Morgan, who ran The Bottle Shop, to lead it. It is part of Beer Hawk, AB InBev’s wider online beer retail arm.
