Bestway has launched a new app for registered Bestway and Batleys customers.
The app, which is for use on iPad and iPhone devices, has detailed product information and price updates on up to 20,000 products.
Customers can also list and access favourite products, and use a barcode scanner to process larger orders quicker.
Other features include updates on deals, offers and multi-buy purchases, previous order history and depot locator.
Bestway said the app would change purchasing patterns for customers and offer even more choice and convenience in how they shop.
“Online sales through the group’s transactional websites are showing double-digit growth, of which 15% comes from new businesses, demonstrating that customers are now confident in using our online channels to purchase,” said marketing director Dawood Pervez.
“The new app simplifies and enhances our web proposition and offers even more features in the palm of your hand.”
Bestway ecommerce manager Jamil Mohammed added: “We have been working on this app for a significant length of time and I believe we have now developed one of the best apps in the wholesale sector which sets a foundation on which to build future technologies.
“With a number of key developments planned for the next two years, I’m confident Bestway Batleys will lead the way in the wholesale sector with web and mobile development.”
An Android version of the app is currently in development and is expected to be released soon.
