Tetley, Molson Coors, Birds Eye and Danone Waters are among the latest brands to team up with deal-collating app bigDL (Big Deals Local) and reward loyalty programme epoints.
The free app, launched last year, provides a Twitter-style feed of all the best offers on the high street and online, and also notifies consumers about exclusive in-store deals.
It is linked to the universal epoints loyalty scheme, which allows shoppers to build up points with every purchase and redeem them against products and activities. Brands can also use epoints to recognise retailer achievements in hitting targets.
Specsavers recently adopted the scheme to reward store and staff performance.
“Our technology champions the consumer, saving them time and money by showing them the latest high street offers and deals in one place, personalised to them,” said Matt Norbury, CEO of bigDL and epoints.
