Charlie Bigham's puts meals back in wooden trays

Ready meals brand Charlie Bigham’s is using wooden trays again, after temporarily switching to foil.

The company’s usual packaging supplier, a small French business that uses sustainable wood, suffered supply problems earlier this month and Bigham’s had to switch to foil trays.

The brand, which put a sticker on pack apologising for the change, has now returned to wooden trays and secured a secondary supplier to avoid future shortages.
