Bill’s Produce looks set to open its eighth store - in Horsham, West Sussex - after an epic wait.

The restaurant, café and fresh produce business first submitted plans to turn the town’s Old Town Hall into its third restaurant in 2009 and this week was named the preferred bidder - three years and four new store openings later.

Bill’s Produce has expanded rapidly since it was bought by restaurant chain Côte in 2008, and has four further openings in the pipeline.
