BingoLotto, the Swedish-owned lottery game that promised better odds than the National Lottery, has ended after just six weeks.
Owner IGS denied that it had underperformed and said it was planning to relaunch the game in September and was currently in talks with major retail outlets about selling gamecards.
IGS said 11,000 independent retailers had sold the £2 gamecards through PayPoint, but BingoLotto sales director Nick Leighton said it was rethinking its retail strategy and planned to sell the gamecards through "the top-selling outlets, plus major national retail outlets". A major advertising campaign is planned for the relaunch.
