A device that clips inside wheelie bins and releases a spray to ward off rats has won listings at Asda.
Binifresh (rsp: £14.95) contains a canister of anti-bacterial and Citronella-based pest repellent that releases a spray inside the bin every four hours.
Binifresh founder Daniel Woolman claimed it killed germs, deterred rats and eliminated odours.
The launch was timely with bin collections across the country still disrupted because of the big freeze, he added.
"Some local authorities are still refusing to collect from unpleasant 'overfull' bins," he said.
