Blueheath has struck a deal to supply Texaco’s 350 UK forecourt stores.
The online wholesaler has agreed to deliver 150 grocery lines up to four times a week to Texaco’s distribution hub at Lutterworth, Leicestershire.
It is the latest forecourt operator to adopt Blueheath as its distributor. Blueheath announced contracts with Malthurst in July last year and Murco and Snax 24 in May.
Blueheath said it had been able to win the business because it could offer high levels of distribution in tandem with frequent and regular visits.
David Jenkins, grocery category manager at Texaco, said: “Blueheath is able to offer us a service level which we anticipate will help availability at store level.”
Blueheath’s business development director Chris Philp added: “We are delighted Texaco sees Blueheath’s delivery system as right for its business. We will be working with it to achieve high service standards and keen pricing.”
