Gary Maloney, Heidi Jackson, Kenton Burchell and Martin Swadling have been promoted from trading controllers to category controllers. They will report to Taylor.
Maloney will be responsible for strengthening the group’s wine and spirits offering.
Jackson will manage confectionery, crisps and snacks, cakes and biscuits accounts.
Burchell will head a team responsible for chilled goods from the group’s regional distribution centre and non-food, including pet food.
Swadling and his team of three will be responsible for beers, lager and ciders, tobacco, RTDs, soft drinks and edible grocery.
In addition, senior inventory analyst Steve Uglow has been appointed trading controller for ambient grocery. He will report to Swadling. Swadling’s former post has been taken by Damien Sawyer, and Mark Smith has been promoted to inventory controller.
