Booths has increased its own-label wine selection and given it a new look.
The range, which will roll out from November, will feature a simpler design, in line with the retailer’s other own-label food ranges.
The own-label range will grow from three lines to 27 and will include a prosecco (rsp: £7.99), a pinot noir (rsp: £12.99) and a French sauvignon blanc (rsp: £6.99).
Earlier this month, Booths launched a wine with no label retailing for £43.21 for a case of 12.
Meanwhile, Lidl this week launched its first premium wine to tap growing demand for fine wines. The range (rsp: £4.99 to £12.99) includes a Châteauneuf du Pape, Saint-Emilion Grand Cru and a Champagne.
