Northern Irish producer Spirited Drinks is to export its Boozeberries liqueur brand to Australia.

The range of three liqueurs infused with berries will be distributed down under by Melbourne-based Kestrel Industries, which contacted Spirited Drinks through its Facebook site. The brand - which includes Wild Cranberries, Zesty Blackcurrant and Wild Blueberries flavours - is sold in the UK by TheDrinkShop.com and independent off-licences.

Kestrel test-marketed the drinks at a food and drink show in Australia and placed a larger order following a positive response, said Spirited Drinks commercial director Barbara Hughes.
