Discounter Lidl has ordered a recall of a batch of Sunnyglade canned baked beans with pork sausages in tomato sauce after it emerged the contents could be undercooked, according to the Food Standards Agency.
The FSA said an error in the processing of the product meant there was the potential for the contents of some cans to cause food poisoning, including botulism.
Lidl has placed adverts in newspapers announcing the withdrawal and put up notices in its stores.
