Last year's Booker prize winning c-store in Bradford is feeling the impact of the hostilities which led to last weekend's riots. Sub Budwal, who owns the Quencher store, said rioting broke out near his premises and customers were now afraid to go out to shop. He said: "Luckily my store was not damaged. We have stepped up security, as have other Bradford c-stores. There is a lot of bad feeling and the problem is out of hand." Budwal said the unrest is concentrated in the Manningham area and exacerbated by drug racketeering. Spokespeople for Asda and Morrisons said their stores in Bradford were not damaged. {{NEWS }}
