Brakes has launched a new range of beef products with the goal of helping customers keep steak on the menu during the cost of living crisis.
The new Simply Steak range includes diced beef and diced chuck, strip loins, various steak cuts including rump and ribeye, as well as roasting joints, which the wholesaler said would be available at lower prices.
The new offering has been developed exclusively for Brakes by an award-winning butchery company and incorporates a cutting-edge butchery technique to enhance the tenderness and consistency of the meat.
In addition, the range is fully traceable from the farm down to the herd and specific animal which produced it.
“Some customers have told us they are struggling to keep beef on the menu, so we’ve sourced a range of high-quality beef products that ensure customers are getting a fantastic product at a very competitive price,” said Brakes senior meat and poultry category manager Michael Nelson.
“The new range has something for everyone, from a basic diced beef right though to a tender ribeye steak. Working with a skilled butchery partner, we know that customers will not only love the price, but they’ll also love the quality.”
