Cobra Beer has created a nationwide brand development team for the off-trade.
The team has been formed following the decision of Cobra Beer to bring its sales development teams in-house from January 1, 2006, after a three-year partnership with SHS Sales & Marketing.
It will be led by national sales manager Ben Parmar who has worked for Cobra Beer for eight years, starting out as a national account executive. Duncan MacDonald, Joshua Norrie and John Stanford join Parmar and will be responsible for creating awareness among independent stores.
Early next year Cobra Beer will recruit three regional account managers for the off-trade team, based in the north, Midlands and south of the country. It has also created an on-trade nationwide brand development team, headed by business development director Chris Edgcumbe-Rendle.
