Halal sweets range Jealous is to overhaul its branding in a bid to raise its profile in the adult confectionery market.

Jealous was founded last year by former City trader Imran Ali Merza and chartered accountant Tahzeen Basunia after Merza struggled to find a premium gift to impress his girlfriend.

The sweet boxes are free from artificial ingredients and do not contain alcohol, gluten or gelatine. They are available in four selection boxes: Gummy Heaven, Sinfully Sour, Enchanted Eden, and gummies and sours mix Paradise Lost (rsp: £11.99/400g) and nine 90g tins (rsp: £3.29).

The company is working with B&B Studio to revamp the brand ahead of a relaunch next year.
