Branston is extending its pickles menu with a spring variant in the hope of replicating the success of its red onion & cranberry winter limited edition.
The red pepper & tomato pickle is hitting shelves at the end of this month, priced £1.35 per jar.
The Premier Foods-owned company hopes the launch will help broaden Branston's appeal to women, who are not traditionally consumers of pickle, said Branston marketing manager Kelly Pym.
"We are confident the spring variant will reach new consumers as well as benefiting our current target market," she said.
