Brothers is launching its Festival pear cider in cans for the first time this month as part of a wider move into the format.
Festival cider will be available in 12-packs of 440ml cans (rsp: £12) and follows the launch of Strawberry in 8x440ml packs last month.
Brothers, which launched at the Glastonbury Festival in 1995, said the cans were aimed at summer festivalgoers who wanted to take the drinks with them to events. Brothers is supporting the launch with a digital marketing campaign.
The Strawberry eight-packs launch which coincided with the recent hot weather had exceeded sales expectations, said a spokeswoman.
Aston Manor has launched 4.5% abv Press 81 cider in a bottle featuring rings that change colour when it is chilled to the optimum drinking temperature. The cider is available in apple and pear variants.
