Roxanne Bennett has been promoted to the newly created role of senior marketing controller at Budgens, reporting to marketing director Stephanie Rice. She heads up a team of seven and is responsible for the management of all marketing department functions, including product and own-label development. Bennett joined Budgens as senior buyer in 1991, after six years as a buyer at Safeway. She moved to marketing in 1997 as product marketing manager and was promoted to marketing controller in February 2000. Rice said: "Her time as a buyer brings an added understanding to the marketing position. "Additionally, her people management skills are invaluable and the new position strengthens our marketing department to take it forward as our business continues to grow." {{PEOPLE MOVES }}
