Budweiser Brewing Group has shaken up its wholesale team, promoting Amanda Coverdale into the newly created role of wholesale controller.
Coverdale took up her new role this week, and will lead a team of six, reporting into Jessica Markowski, sales director for convenience and wholesale.
Budweiser said she had been tasked with driving sales within the channel, following a year of significant investment in its off-trade operations, and will oversee customer relationships.
Coverdale joined Budweiser six years ago, rising to national account manager for Co-op following roles in its Spar and Booker wholesale teams. Prior to this she held a number of positions within commercial retail.
“Consumer tastes and shopping habits have shifted dramatically during my time at Budweiser Brewing Group, from the rise of low & no alcohol options to environmentally conscious consumers demanding more sustainable products,” said Coverdale. “I’m looking forward to helping our wholesale customers navigate the challenges and opportunities this changing landscape presents.”
