Natural men’s skincare brand Bulldog is planning to treble the size of its UK business.
The London-based company said it would be making its largest marketing spend yet in 2013 as it looked to increase sales of the brand from £2.5m to £7.5m over the next three years.
“We will be investing more than ever before to spread the word,” said founder Simon Duffy. “However, we are up against massive competitors so need to lead the market with innovative marketing activities, rather than rely on huge advertising budgets.”
The brand, which already exports its products to the US, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Germany, Austria and Japan, launched into Spain last week.
Bulldog is now rolling out an Expert Skincare gift set (rsp: £20) containing a moisturiser, an after shave balm, a face wash and scrub to retailers - taking its Christmas range to five products.
