Every year The Grocer calls on buyers at the UK’s leading grocery retailers and wholesalers to name their top branded, own-label and SME suppliers across a range of 20 major grocery fmcg categories.

The winners in each category are announced in a big feature in The Grocer in April.

They are then automatically shortlisted for The Grocer Gold Awards 2014, the most prestigious awards in the food and drink calendar, in which we crown the Branded, Own-Label Supplier of the Year.

The value of these awards to suppliers cannot be overstated, as an endorsement of their hard work.

But we can’t do this without your help.

And because we’re conscious of how busy you are, we want to make it as easy and quick as possible to complete the survey questionnaire.

There are now two hassle-free ways to select your top suppliers. With no stamps, or envelopes, or faxes.

The first way is to use the editable survey form (download here). With this you can dip in and out of the survey when you have a free moment here and there, or fill in any missing info, and the changes you made will be stored. Or you can print it off and tick the boxes (while you’re on a train, for example) but then get someone on your team to complete it online. Then you click ‘submit your form’ and it’s sent to us automatically.

This is not editable, but you may find it more convenient if you can answer the questions in one go.

The form should take 5-15 minutes to complete.

As a thank you, every buyer who participates can also be entered into two prize draws, with five £100 gift vouchers up for grabs; as well five copies of The Grocer Directory of manufacturers and Suppliers 2014 (worth £275).
