Haribo hopes to drive sales of gums and jellies in the independent sector with its new Cashback 2000 promotion.
Retailers collect 25 tokens found inside drums with the the Cashback 2000 Promotion' offer, and Haribo gives them £5 back.
The promotion through February and March runs across Haribo's top 10 loose countlines including its 1p lines Happy Cola and Fried Eggs, Giant Cola (10p) and Yellow Bellies (20p) and its new 2p line Build-a-Burger.
Helmut Mager, md of Haribo Dunhills (Pontefract), said: "We are encouraging retailers to review their range, focus on bestselling lines and stimulate additional sales through stocking innovative new brands."
TV ads for Haribo will run between January and August as part of a £3.5m marketing spend for the brand this year.
