Independent Scottish off-licence chain G101 Off Sales has returned to profit, according to accounts filed at Companies House.
It made pre-tax profits of £76,763 in the year ending May 2009, compared with a pre-tax loss of £657 in the previous year. Its turnover increased 18% to £40.1m.
The company has reinvented itself as a c-store chain, offering groceries in addition to alcohol.
The accounts also show the company bought the Burnfield Trading Company in April 2009 by issuing new shares.
Burnfield Trading is owned by the wife of G101-owner George King.
