Snowmen, Christmas trees and Santa Claus are getting starring roles in Yuletide launches from Cadbury Trebor Bassett this year.
Head of customer relations Mike Tipping said Christmas packs had to look even more seasonal, as shoppers were demanding more from retailers. "They really want the store to reflect the magic of Christmas," he added.
New selection packs and tubes will feature more Christmas imagery and be colour-themed, with clearer indication of contents.
New products include a Roses Premium Truffle selection - a 200g box of 16 wrapped truffles in milk, dark, almond and hazelnut flavours (rsp: £3.49), which will get four weeks of Coronation Street credits in the run-up to Christmas.
There is also a £3.49 250g bag of Santa's Workshop novelties - a moulded tree with baubles, a Santa's sack, presents and a bearded Santa - and a 220g hollow Dairy Milk Santa Surprise containing chocolate snowballs (rsp: £4.99).
