Calypso is bringing out his and hers juice drinks for kids. An orange juice aimed at boys features Spider-man while a blackcurrant and apple flavour targets girls with the Groovy Chick character.
Marketing director Richard Cooke said the company had researched children’s reactions and found that what was a hit with the boys was often bottom of the poll for girls. “So we’ve taken the decision to produce two distinctively different
drinks,” he added. The triple-packs of 200ml single-serve cartons, which retail at 69p, replace the company’s current Cartoon Network range.
