Diageo is rolling out its global Smirnoff advertising campaign across the UK this July.
The company is investing more than £500,000 in the Signature campaign, which traces the brand's story from its routes in Imperial Russia, through Europe and across to America.
The campaign includes a TV ad, an internet site and a new mobile phone website - the first created for an alcoholic drinks brand, claims the company.
"The Signature campaign celebrates one of the most fascinating stories in our industry," says brand director Anita Robinson. "We are bringing to life the brand's Imperial Russian heritage and highlighting the great lengths to which we go to achieve such an exceptional and pure vodka."
The TV ad, which aired in Northern Ireland in April, will hit UK screens on 2 July, when the mobile website goes live.
"The site includes a bar-finder, cocktail menu and a feature where we invite users to write their own story, answering questions about themselves that are related to Smirnoff," said Robinson.
