The Andrex puppy, a toy puppy and Spit the Dog are among the canine stars of new TV campaigns for the toilet roll brand and its stablemate Kleenex. The activity is part of a £3m marketing and fundraising push to raise money for charity Comic Relief.

The Andrex execution features young comedians as well as the real and toy puppies. In an on-pack promotion, consumers can get their paws on the latter or win the chance to become a VIP Red Nose Day guest. Spit the Dog and Bob Carolgees team up with Bobby Davro, Les Dennis and Keith Harris in the Kleenex ad.

Meanwhile, Walkers has has pledged to raise £1m for the charity. Gary Lineker and other stars will encourage people to don red ears in a WalkEARS-TV ad hitting screens this weekend.
