Magners manufacturer the C&C Group has set up a new business to run its new on-trade wine portfolio.
The International Wine Services (IWS) division will manage a new portfolio of wines that C&C acquired earlier this year. It includes the Oliver and Greg’s range that was managed by on-trade wholesaler Waverley TBS until its demise in October 2012. Other brands include Trulli Pinot Grigio and an Australian Moondarra Chardonnay.
The new venture will be run by commercial director Shaun Goode.
“We are delighted to be leading the development of the C&C Group’s wine portfolio in the on-trade,” Goode said. “By offering a respected branded range covering all the popular varietals and with the option for single serve sizes too, we can really make it very easy.”
C&C also markets and distributes Gaymers and Tennent’s. The full range will be supplied direct to existing Tennent’s customers in Scotland and Northern Ireland, or via partner wholesalers in England, Scotland and Wales.
