Just weeks away from the new season tomato pack, UK buyers are being contacted by a new supplier. HL Foods, the canning division of Premier International Foods, has signed a partnership deal with Italian packer Fege. HL Foods is best known for its revival of the HP brand in recent years. The firm brings tuna, salmon through Bumble Bee Seafoods in the US and corned beef under the Libby's brand. Bumble Bee and Libby's are part of International Home foods, the US associate of HL Foods. Products will be sold through HL Foods' existing sales team. Fege founder Gerardo Ferraioli said: "Combining our resources makes sense for everyone.
