Scotch whisky bosses are meeting Diageo next week in a bid to find a solution to the dispute over the marketing of Diageo’s Cardhu brand. The whisky has a ‘pure malt’ tag even though it is now a blended whisky because of a shortfall in production at its home distillery. The Scotch Whisky Association has confirmed it will be present at the meeting on Thursday.
