Caribbean supplier Carib Brewery has launched its shandy range in the UK to tap thirst for low-alcohol lager.
The introduction of the 1.2% abv Shandy Carib range, which is available now and comprises ginger and a sorrel variants (rsp: 99p), was a “no-brainer”, said John Payne, sales director of distributor Wanis. “The Caribbean drinks category is one of the fastest growing,” he added.
The arrival follows a string of low-abv flavoured lager launches.
