Independent retailers can this summer tap into drinker preference for cold beer as well the growing demand for beer as a gift with a special Carling cool bag pack from Coors Brewers.
The cool bag is designed in the shape of a can and plays on the name Carling with the use of the word ‘chilling’.
The cool bag plus eight 500ml cans of Carling will hit selected convenience stores in May until late September for £8-99p.
Coors category management controller, Linda O'Brien said an estimated 80% of consumers want cold beer and as beer gifting becomes more popular the pack would provide “the ideal present for discerning drinkers on birthdays and other occasions”.
