Guy Carling has quit as Red Bull UK's brand director exactly 10 years to the day after joining the energy drink manufacturer.
He was responsible for developing Red Bull's marketing campaign and led last month's structural review with Red Bull's MD Nigel Trood, who took up his role in March, and financial director Karl Sengstbratl. The review focused on the company's customer marketing and sales recruitment.
Carling also organised the brand's national sporting events, which included the London Red Bull Air Race held in July, and Flugtag flying competition in 2003.
"I've had the most incredible time at Red Bull and one that I will never forget," said Carling.
"I'm leaving the brand in the strongest possible position and in the hands of the most capable, creative and enthusiastic people you could ever wish to work with. I wish them all the best for what I know will be a bright and exciting future," he added.
