Carlsberg is supporting charity campaign Movember by extending its male grooming range with a Beer’d Beauty kit.
The kit (rsp: £40) contains shaving gel, aftershave cream and moustache cream to help chaps taking part in the annual charity ’tachefest. Each product contains 200ml of freeze-dried, powdered beer, which Carlsberg said contained antioxidants, natural oils and antibacterial acids that would help keep facial hair in good condition through the winter.
All proceeds from Beer’d Beauty will go to the Movember Foundation, which funds work in four areas of men’s health: prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and physical inactivity.
“Based on the success of our first range of male grooming products, we were keen to bring our new-found expertise to the market once again,” said Carlsberg senior brand manager Dharmesh Rana. “This time, we’re doing it for a good cause - Movember is a charity that aligns closely to the values of the Carlsberg brand and we’re all focused on ensuring this new range is Probably the Best range of male grooming products on the market.”
This summer, Carlsberg launched a body grooming set including shampoo and body lotion (rsp: £19.99) that contains vitamin B, proteins, minerals and Carlsberg beer.
