Carlsberg is gearing up for longer winter nights in with a new promotion that offers drinkers the chance to win a Sky 3D package.
The text-to-win promotion is rolling out now across the brewer's Carlsberg and Carlsberg Export beers. Each week until the end of the year, one consumer will win a Sky 3D package comprising a 47-inch LG 3D TV, a Sky+ HD Box, one year's subscription to Sky World and Sky+HD, plus four pairs of Carlsberg-branded 3D glasses.
The promotion would enable lager drinkers to enjoy "Probably the best nights in", the Danish brewer said.
"Carlsberg UK research has shown consumers are spending more of their leisure time relaxing at home and we want to give our customers something that can really help them make the most of this consumer trend," said Paul Davies, director of brands & insight. "Sky is leading the way in home entertainment, while Carlsberg is now the second biggest standard lager in the off-trade. It's a fantastic partnership."
