Buying group Caterforce group has introduced a new platform to streamline pricing and promotions across its membership.

The new Price Hub will make centralised product and price information available to buyers, suppliers and Caterforce members.

This would make promotion details more accurate, easier to update in real time, and in turn increase profitability for members, it said.

The platform will be integrated with Erudus, a digital software providing allergen, nutritional and technical product data for foodservice businesses.

Price Hub’s debut had been “overwhelmingly positive” with members, according to Caterforce MD Gary Mullineux.

Caterforce member Pioneer Foodservice trialled the hub when it first rolled out in December 2024.

Pioneer purchasing director Michael Brown said the new system was “efficient and easy to use” and made “managing pricing and promotions a breeze”.

“We are absolutely delighted with Price Hub, which is much more than just a digital tool to manage pricing and promotions,” said Mullineux.

“Our members need to stay competitive and we are proud to provide them with this fantastic tool that informs their pricing decisions via real-time data and advanced analytics, which will give them a competitive edge.”
