Pop star Louise Rednapp, TV presenter Toyah Wilcox and athlete Linford Christie are among the celebrities featured in a new press ad campaign from dairy products specialist Alpro.
Appearing in women's magazines, newspaper supplements and food and health titles from May to December, the ads form part of Alpro's £3m marketing spend this year.
They show the famous names endorsing the brand's drinks, desserts and yogurts and feature the Family Heart Association logo.
The sector is growing 31% year-on-year in value according to the company, and the ads' aim is to boost its profile. The celebrities have been selected to appeal to the core target audience of women aged 25 to 50.
The campaign also includes a roadshow which will visit retailers, shopping centres and events until the end of year. Tailored promotional activity is also planned.
