Sainsbury's exclusive seven-year partnership with Champneys Health Resorts has come to an end.
The supermarket has been selling a range of Champneys bath, body and gift products in its stores on an exclusive basis since 2004 but this week it was revealed that Champneys had secured a new exclusive deal with Boots. The range, including new products, will be sold in Boots stores from April. Boots already has an exclusive deal with the Sanctuary Spa in London's Covent Garden.
"This is a chance to give customers a taste of the indulgent Champneys brand at home, enabling them to create their very own spa experience," said Annabel Franks, head of exclusive brands at Boots. "We are continuing to work with Champneys to develop the range including launching new lines later in the year and a Christmas gift range."
Sainsbury's said it "would not comment on supplier relationships".
