Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall yesterday paid a visit to Rhug Farm Estate, supplier of organic meat to Clarence House and Plum babyfood.
Charles and Camilla unveiled a commemorative plaque and took a tour of the estate, farm shop and café, accompanied by the estate’s owner Lord Newborough.
Rhug Farm Estate extends over 12,500 acres in Denbighshire, North Wales, with the organic farm occupying 2,500 acres. The farm produces beef, bison, lamb and poultry and its deli stocks more than 70 varieties of cheese, homemade pies and cured meats.
Rhug Farm has been supplying Clarence House with organic meat for 18 months.
