Chilean winery Viña Errazuriz has released a Pinot Noir style to partner its Wild Ferment Chardonnay which was launched in 1995.
Wild Ferment Pinot Noir 2000 is the result of three years experimenting which involved leaving the wine to ferment using the yeast that is naturally present on the skin of the grapes.
Normally a specifically chosen strain of yeast is added to the wine to cause controlled fermentation.
The Pinot Noir (rsp: £9.99) has been listed by Sainsbury and First Quench.
