2014 may well be remembered as the year Brits went crazy for kitsch Christmas jumpers.
Festive knitwear is selling like never before, with Asda reporting the sale of over 1 million jumpers so far, a 160% increase since Christmas 2013.
The supermarket’s exclusive clothing brand George partnered up with Save the Children for the third annual Christmas Jumper Day, which took place on Friday 12 December.
An estimated 4 million participants donned yuletide numbers, raising over £1.5m for the charity.
