Perfetti van Melle launched Chupa Chups 2Pop this week, billing it the first two-ball lollipop on the market.
The lollipop (rsp: 30p) features two different flavoured balls on one stick and comes in two flavour combinations orange & melon and cocoa & vanilla.
"Kids have reacted well in trials and love the idea of getting a larger lollipop for their money," says PvM marketing manager Mark Stangroom.
2Pops are inspired by scoops of ice cream on a cone and are aimed at eight- to 12-year-olds and the after-school purchase occasion, said PvM.
