A lager which has been brewed in Malta since 1928 is now being launched into the UK. The 4.2% abv Cisk Lager and 5% abv Cisk Export will be available from Farsons Cisk in bottle and can formats, priced between £1.59 and £1.69. A spokesman for the company in the UK, said: "Brits who enjoyed Cisk in Malta have been demanding the beer in the UK. The growth of the premium lager market here also led to the launch."
The Cisk range, which includes the 3.8% abv Farsons Lacto Milk Stout, has won brewing awards including the Silver Medal in the lager category at the 2005 Brewing Industry International Awards.
