Clearly Drinks has launched a range of drinks intended to support women’s health through pregnancy and menopause.
Called Perfectly Me, the brand has debuted with two “lightly sparkling” variants: 4Menopause and Mum to Be.
4Menopause is a cranberry-flavoured drink designed to “provide comprehensive nutritional support for before, during, and after the menopause”. It contains vitamin B6 “to support the regulation of hormonal activity”, along with sage, calcium, zinc and vitamin D.
Mum to Be, meanwhile, is an apple and ginger-flavoured drink offering “a tailored combination of ingredients, expertly blended” for pregnant women. It provides folic acid, vitamin D and calcium.
Both drinks are packaged in 150ml cans, which are intended to be taken daily.
They have rolled onto Amazon (rsp: £6.99/6x150ml).
According to Clearly Drinks, “being healthy and receiving the right vitamins shouldn’t be a chore”.
The manufacturer had “spotted a gap in the market” for “a great-tasting and enjoyable form of vitamin and mineral support”, it said, adding that Perfectly Me was a “true category disruptor”.
The innovations join a raft of recent launches into the functional drinks space.
Nexba, for instance, added a line of nootropic drinks and a duo of natural energy drinks with prebiotics earlier this year.
Vita Coco, meanwhile, reformulated its Choc-o-lot drink in June to add “fibre benefits” and Innocent added a new smoothie, claimed to boost immunity, in May.
