The Co-operative Group is to axe 400 jobs at Somerfield distribution centres.
The group said the East Kilbride depot would close with the loss 160 jobs, while 140 jobs would be axed from the Bridgwater depot and 100 from Huntingdon following a fall in distribution volumes.

Staff from Cumbernauld and Harthill, which will also close, would transfer to Newhouse.
