Dungannon Meats Group has won a contract to supply additional fresh beef to the Co-operative Group.
The deal will create 30 new jobs involved in added-value work in Dungannon’s Northern Ireland factories.
Dungannon has now won £55m of new business since the loss of its Sainsbury fresh beef contract, believed to have been worth £80-90m, when the multiple switched to a single supply arrangement with ABP.
In February, Dungannon secured £25m of new business with Sainsbury, including £17m worth of lamb business.
